The climate is so hot right because its a summertime. Now our mind is thinking about chilling but where do we go to chill out. Don't worry I'll suggest to you one stunning place in Kerala that is Munnar , it has so many beautiful places and I will tell you the few tourist places in Munnar
Places to visit in Munnar during summer in one day
1.. KUNDALA DAM
It is some beautiful views from Kundala Dam Lake, Munnar. Each and every corner of Munnar is so beautiful. And Kundala Dam Lake is one of the most beautiful places there. The long trees on the bank of the lake are so charming and it would be so peaceful when you walk among these trees...The color of the lake looks blue and when you take a picture of it you may feel like a painting...The sight of the trees, lake, and hills add beauty to this place...It's an awesome creation of God.
2. CHEEYAPARA WATERFALLS
It is located on adimly and the waterfalls have seven layers, the waterfalls down by down and it has various species. you can see the beauty of nature. the best place for trekking who want to go trekking could add this place to your choices.
3. MUNNAR TOP STATION
The top station is the highest point in the entire Munnar area whenever you are on a trip, try to find sunrise and sunset points and get outside! watch the sunrise! watch the sunset! The top station is at a height of 1700 m above the sea level on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and offers majestic views of western ghat during sunrise I was wondering about the concept of heaven but thought heaven is a concept made by man only and such spots would have been an inspiration to the concept It further felt that heaven is on Earth itself, waiting for us to discover it. The top station was unfolding as a treasure island It has such a spectacular sunrise!
4. ATTUKDAD WATERFALLS
An open eye on everything imaginable and beyond! Just twenty minutes drive from Munnar via the National Highway 85, nine kilometers en route to Pallivasal, lies one of the spectacular Waterfalls. The Attukad Waterfall is located about two and a half kilometers away from the Pallivasal Tea Factory junction via the Attukad Waterfall Road. One can visit this place without any fee. There are no timings for entry but avoid late evening visits because this is a lonely place without any lighting. The best time to visit is during the Monsoon season between June and September. It is a perennial Waterfall, so don't come in during the Summer season. Attukad Waterfall gushing down from a height of about a hundred feet from the hillside. This mighty, roaring waterfall splashing spring water droplets all the way down in its course, Near the bridge, you can see the pearl white spring flowing down; twisting, turning, splashing, and shooting past huge boulders which are smooth, glistening, and withered by time. Before reaching the narrow bridge, the stream bifurcates into two, then meet again farther away from the bridge and vanishes in the valley.
5. MATTUPATTY HILLS
It is an Hill Point View (Near Munnar Town)13 km from Munnar Town On the way we can see so many tea plantations, mountains, and eucalyptus plantations. Tea plantations workers camp/house and their worship centers. So this route ride is very nice and beautiful it is a photoshoot area and Peach blossom time.., Stupa of the dam site One of the storage concrete gravity dam and is built in 1940 Still now Kerala government using this dam for hydroelectricity this dam site is very clean and its surroundings are beautiful Pedal boat and speedboat services are here Food stalls,.Entertainment zone,etc...
